just finished!

Wish I could share the image with you, but I can't get it uploaded :-(

My new quilt, "Relative Order" will be premiering at the Haywood County Arts Council gallery in Waynesville, NC. My L.I.N.T. (Ladies in New Textiles) group will be featured in a gallery exhibition there from March 30 - April 30, 2011, with a public reception taking place on April 1 from 6 until 8 pm. The address is 86 North Main St. We are all looking forward to this upcoming show which will highlight our new textile creations.

Also, on another thread, Echo Gallery is now closed. We gave it a good run for 18 months, but the business was taking too much time away from our artistic endeavors, and we all needed our precious hours to make art! Thank you all for your support!!!

New Work

"Words to Live By" - cotton fabric, some hand-dyed and printed.  One section has a repeated paragraph that looks as though you can almost read it.  Therefore, with the illegible type, the title is a bit ironic.

"Abundant Life"

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

This is me in my studio with a couple of quilts. I don't have many images of me at work, but at least this shows some of what I do. At the present time, I am involved with a new co-op gallery that consists of six other western NC artists. The gallery is located in Biltmore Park Town Square, and is called Echo Gallery. We have just over 2000 sq. ft., and are eager to get moved in and open for business. Our website is echoasheville.com if you'd like to visit.
